Internal Family Systems
IFS (Internal Family Systems) views a person as containing an ecology of relatively discrete parts, each having a valuable role. These parts are sometimes forced into extreme roles by external circumstances. By understanding how these extreme roles were established, and creating safety in the present, so the part can transform back into a valuable entity.
